HALLBERG RASSY 382

Broker's description:

The Hallberg Rassy 382 is a much sought after bluewater cruiser and a very desirable liveaboard. They rarely come to the market and this is a late example, being model 116 of 122 made.  She is well equipped and maintained and well proven with two Atlantic crossings in her current ownership.

The fixed screen and lovely lines give a purposeful look and matched by her semi long keel and conventional mainsail with lazyjacks, she offers a powerful offshore performance. The deep centre cockpit adds to the feeling of security whilst at sea and combined with her sensibly thought out interior she is capable of worldwide cruising in comfort and safety.

Descending the companionway steps into the saloon you immediately notice the high quality joinery and construction these bluewater cruisers are known for. A forward facing chart table and navigation area is to port and opposite this to starboard is a ‘U’ shaped galley with excellent usable stowage designed for practical use whilst at sea. Aft of the chart table is a walk-thru’ to the owners’ cabin that has good access to the engine and machinery space situated under the cockpit sole. The owners’ cabin itself has a large single berth to port and a double to starboard.  There is excellent locker space and stowage in the aft cabin.

The saloon has a straight settee to starboard and an ‘L’ shaped settee to port. Both settees have lifting backs and convert to four excellent pilot berths whilst on passage. Hallberg Rassy’s legendary quality joinery abounds and there is excellent usable stowage throughout the yacht, as you would expect of a bluewater cruiser of this calibre. Forward of the saloon is a good sized heads and shower compartment to port with further stowage opposite to starboard.  The forepeak area houses a double guest cabin.

This Hallberg Rassy 382 would make an excellent choice for a long distance cruiser boasting high quality construction and the ability to cruise safely and comfortably offshore.
