This Fountaine Pajot Maryland 37 for sale in Corfu is a popular choice for a comfortable livaboard cruiser. She`s only in her second ownership from new and never chartered. She`s regularly updated with quality equipment and very nicely maintained. Viewing is highly recommended to fully appreciate the clever design that combines luxurious accommodation you`d only expect to find on a much larger yacht with a serious long distance sea going performance.
Stepping aboard this Maryland 37 Motor Catamaran from the passerelle you enter a spacious aft cockpit with custom made fitted cushions that is shaded from the sun by a solid built in bimini. There is a Rib and outboard ready to go stored on the davits that also cleverly doubles as the solar panel supports. There is excellent access to both Yanmar engines and the machinery spaces making easy work of maintenance. A spiral staircase leads to the flybridge where the helm position is located to starboard with seating to port and further seating surrounding a table aft. Wide sidedecks allow easy access forward and the mid / foredeck area offers a huge amount of sunbathing space. The recently replaced powerful electric anchor winch gives trouble free anchoring.
Entering the saloon from the cockpit there an immediate feeling of luxury and space that is flooded with natural light form the large windows that give all round panoramic views. “U” shaped seating surrounds the saloon table to starboard and quality fabrics plus her solid wood interior give a luxurious ambience and it`s obvious this is a well cared for boat. A very practical and well thought galley is located to port and there is a magnificent full width helm station at the forward end of the saloon giving a “big ship” feel.
Steps lead down into each hull at the sides of the helm position. The starboard hull houses the owner`s double berth aft. Forward of this is a dressing area with good stowage and an en-suite heads / shower compartment further forward again. The port hull has 2 double guest cabins and a central shared heads / shower compartment. She has a very practical layout which allows for a good amount of usable stowage throughout as you would expect for a yacht designed for livaboard cruising in comfort.
This Fountaine Pajot Maryland 37 Motor Catamaran presents very nicely both inside and out. As her “Trawler Type” design suggests she is a serious sea boat and her huge diesel tanks give her an exceptionally long cruising range. These were strongly built quality boats and she`s ideal as a very comfortable and practical Med livaboard cruiser or holiday boat with versatile accommodation and an aire of luxury making her an attractive proposition all round.
