This Beneteau Oceanis 46 has a large stable passarelle for easy boarding when stern too. The transom gate allows unhindered access forward into the spacious cockpit. The chart plotter is centrally mounted at the aft end of the cockpit table so easily viewed from the twin helm stations. The bimini and sprayhood are recent from 2021. A bowthruster is fitted allowing vice free marina manoeuvring and a powered winch allows easy line control.
Below decks this is a light and airy boat. Large windows in the coachroof and sides allow plenty of natural light and opening hatches and portlights offer good ventilation. The aft end of the saloon has an excellent “L” shaped galley to port that has double sinks close to the centreline of the boat with the cooker outboard opposite and excellent work surface’s that are secure to work on at sea. There is a chart table to starboard and a straight settee forward of this and opposite to port is “U” shaped seating surrounding the saloon table. The original Beneteau quality fabrics are in excellent condition and compliment the lovely wood finishes.
The forward end of the saloon has access to the owner`s double cabin in the forepeak area with a large centreline double berth and an en-suite heads and shower compartment. There is excellent stowage and this is a very comfortable cabin.
The aft end of the saloon house`s a large heads compartment with separate shower stall, a popular feature of these modern cruisers and this can be accessed from the saloon or en-suite to the starboard double cabin. The ever reliable Yanmar engine is located under the companionway steps and has less than 800 hours run from and is “as new”. A further guest double cabin is located aft of the galley. Both aft cabins have hanging locker space plus additional access panels for easy engine maintenance.
This Beneteau Oceanis 46 is a nice looking modern yacht with sleek lines and a performance to match. She is very lightly used, well presented inside and out and an excellent example of this sought after popular design.
