This Bavaria 34 is the desirable 2 cabin owner`s version and this lovely spacious yacht needs to be viewed to appreciate fully. She combines an excellent sailing performance with a practical, roomy interior layout. She is a well equipped and very nicely presented example and benefits from many recent upgrades - see her specification for full details.
This Bavaria 34 has very many sensible additions and upgrades such as replacement standing rigging, sails, sail drive seal, major engine overhaul, propeller and outboard engine etc along with recent epoxy treatment to hull and keel. She is a very much a “ready to go” example with much money spent by her current owner. The furling sails with lines led aft allow easy shorthanded operation and she is very manoeuvrable under power with her saildrive being close to the centre pivot point of the boat and benefits from a bowthruster also. She has a large and deep anchor locker and cavernous cockpit locker. There is good instrumentation at the wheel steering and she has a new quality bimini cover with side sun shades.
Below decks is a very practical layout that works equally well at sea and in harbour. A good sized chart table and navigation area is located to starboard with a practical “U” shaped galley opposite to port. Forward of these are two long straight settees that are much more comfortable for lounging on than curved settees and of course double as good sea berths. The backs lift also for additional storage behind. The owner’s cabin is located in the forepeak area and is of a size you would only expect to find on a much larger boat. It has good wardrobe stowage and excellent ventilation with a variety opening hatches.
There is a further double guest cabin again of a good size accessed aft of the galley and a very roomy heads / shower compartment aft of the chart table. The well maintained overhauled and recently serviced engine is located beneath the companionway steps.
This Bavaria 34 has a very nice feel about her and she has been well cared for. She is only in her second private ownership from new and never chartered. She has a traditional layout that works well and is a spacious boat that is both comfortable and practical to spend extended time on board and makes an excellent choice for a livaboard or extended holiday use whilst is small enough to keep on-going costs low. She also has the benefit of her mooring in Gouvia marina until October 2024 included in the price making her an exceptional prospect well worth considering!
