This Bavaria 42 offers a versatile accommodation layout with three double cabins, one twin cabin and two heads/shower compartments. She benefits from very many recent upgrades including a bow thruster, replacement mast and standing/running rigging, batteries and fridge compressor etc!
This Bavaria 42 is easily operated shorthanded with both sails furling and lines led aft. She has a lower freeboard than newer Bavarias giving her a sleeker look yet with generous accommodation and easier handling when marina manoeuvring.
Below decks the spacious saloon offers ‘U’ shaped seating (with new upholstery) around the saloon table to starboard with a longitudinal galley opposite to port. The aft end of the saloon has a full size chart table and navigation area to starboard with a heads/shower compartment opposite to port. There are two double aft cabins with good stowage that are accessed either side of the companionway steps. The engine is located under the steps and has good all-round access for maintenance and has just been serviced with a new Cam Belt also. The forward end of the saloon has a walk-thru’ that houses a twin cabin to starboard and a second heads/shower compartment opposite to port. The forepeak area has another double cabin.
