This Jaguar 27 has had extensive modifications to its interior and makes an ideal budget yacht for couples or single handing. She benefits from many upgrades of equipment to include replacement mast and standing rigging, electric anchor winch etc and has been professionally re-painted with Awl-Grip paint. Her current owners have extensively upgraded her and she is very well presented and looked after. She has to be the best example of a Jaguar 27 available!
A stern bathing platform and bow platform make for easy boarding when moored either bows or stern to. The spacious cockpit is large enough to sleep outside if desired. Awl-Grip paint combined with the light blue non-slip areas makes for an attractive looking yacht. This Jaguar 27 is easily sailed single handed with furling genoa and in mast furling mainsail. Other upgrades include electric anchor, winch replacement hatches, upgraded winches with replacement tracks and cars and modified transom access.
Below decks the extensive modifications of this Jaguar 27 over the standard model is immediately apparent. On descending the companionway steps a small chart table and navigation area is to starboard with a replacement control panel etc. Aft of this is a roomy quarter-berth stretching under the cockpit for the occasional guest, or equally is ideal for storage with this repeated on the port side. The galley runs along the port side of the saloon and opposite to starboard is a good sized heads and shower compartment. The forepeak area has been greatly extended providing a very large double berth.
Not to be confused with the standard Jaguar 27, this example offers layout and specifiction specifically designed for comfort for shorthanded crews. As can be seen from her specification and inventory she benefits from many upgrades and improvements in her current ownership making her very much ready to go cruising on a budget!
