This Jeanneau Sun Legende 41 has replacement teak in the cockpit that`s in excellent condition. Many opening hatches offer good ventilation below decks. Steps built into the transom offer easy boarding when stern to and also double as a swimming platform. She benefits from a cockpit arch with solar panels etc.
Descending the companionway steps which have the trusty Perkins engine under you enter the saloon. The full sized chart table and navigation area is to starboard and opposite to port is a practical U shaped galley with excellent stowage. Seating surrounds the saloon table and pipecots above mean the boat can actually sleep 11 – an indication of her racing / performance pedigree with the ability to house a full crew.
Two double cabins are accessed either side of the companionway steps and have good wardrobe / locker stowage and both have washbasins. Forward of the saloon in the forepeak area there is a further double cabin again with good stowage and the en-suite heads / shower compartment.
This Jeanneau Sun Legende 41 offers a winning combination of strong construction, a solid wood interior and a serious sailing performance rarely seen in her newer sisterships and although she would benefit from some updating and cosmetic work she represents outstanding value for money for such a lovely yacht of this calibre.
