This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 31 is a strongly constructed yacht and has been regularly upgraded and maintained for livabord / extended holiday use. She is from an era that prioritised quality construction with a sporty and sea-kindly performance and boasts the beautiful joinery of the solid wood interior that you do not see in today’s boats. She is tiller steered which frees up space in the cockpit and gives optimum feel to the helmsman.

Descending the companionway steps you immediately notice the beautiful solid wood interior that benefits from an extensive varnish program. The headlining has been professionally replaced giving a soft and cosy ambience in the two cabins. A practical galley is located to port with a full sized chart table and navigation area opposite to starboard.  A straight settee is forward of the chart table and opposite across the beautifully varnished saloon table there is ‘U’ shaped seating, which converts to a double. Both make good sea berths also. The forepeak area houses a double cabin with a small wardrobe and shelf stowage. The larger double cabin aft is accessed behind the galley and has good wardrobe and shelf stowage. The reliable Volvo engine benefits from a comprehensive maintenance program and there is excellent all-round access from the companionway steps and lift out panels from the aft cabin and heads compartment. The heads / shower compartment is of a good size and has a holding tank located externally in the sensibly compartmentalised cockpit locker.
